today's my birthday, lalalala, lala, la, la...! it's naomi's birthday as well... gemini twins :-) i've had a super day, loads of great presents, a fun party, and tonnes of ecards from groovy online friends. that's such a cool way to wake up on your birthday, with an inbox jammed with good wishes :-) thanks everyone for making my day...!

i'd like to mention my birthday cake for a moment, and the fact that zoran is a god when it comes to choosing them... oh. my. lord. chocolate brownie cheesecake smothered in caramel, more chocolate, and pecans. if i fall into a diabetic coma this evening it will have been well worth it =-)

One really does have to be careful about typos, lest one incite sudden, uncontrollable religious hysteria.... The Florida Education Commissioner is a man named Charlie Crist. The following is (currently) on nbc6.net but I expect it to disappear very quickly. (LOL!!!):

watched the first part of the 2 episode series finale of xena last night... it was really good, beautifully shot and very dramatic but it looks like xena is going to end up having to take her own life in the second part...! not what i wanted to see, especially since it airs in my area on june 20th - my birthday :-\ what i really want is for xena and her faithful side-kick gabrielle to ride off into the sunset together - alive...! aack.

want xena memorabilia... real props and costumes from the set...? check out auctions.yahoo.com/xena the items there are really special, like xena's saddle, dagger and season 6 chakram, and ares' sword, dagger and entire official costume, with his ring etc...! it's already up to $1000 so that puts me right out of the running, but i've got some bids on prop jewellery (on ebay) that will probably work out for me. wheeeee...!
