we saw episode II on thursday at the silver city on a regular screen and we loved it, totally loved it. we went to see it again last night at the colossus which has digital projection, and it really did make a difference. the colours pop, it's crystal clear, and easy on the eyes 'cause there's none of those weird spots, scratches and jigglies you get with regular projection. if you've got a digital projection theatre near you go and see it there, even if you've already seen it on a reg screen.

my fave character in episode II was bounty hunter zam wesell... so it completely sucked that she was killed off. but hey, she was a lot of fun while she lasted so i made a start up screen in her honour. over the summer i'll be making a whole whack of wallpapers, start ups and icons that'll be featured on my expanded star wars site. right now i just have my old darth maul site there.

who hasn't been having a wobbler (thanks ozzy, hehe!) about the hoopladotcom scandal...? each day goes by that ms. harpold's domain continues to have been hijacked the more pissed off i get about it. so, while searching for info on other verisign/netsol screw ups i found a great little page to link to. but then i thought why just link to it, why not ask the author if i can mirror it...? this way it comes up more often in searches, which hopefully benefits people looking to reg their first domain and educates the ones who are still with verisign/netsol to get the hell out of dodge before it's too late. so, shortly after i emailed him, john @ aetherlumina gave me permission to use his page and then declared it public domain. very cool, eh...? so if you want to be another mirror site go on and copy the page to your own server and then let him know about it.
