well, no one needed me to take this test to find out that my weblog doesn't own me. but there's something funny about it being the first thing i've blogged in a month.
My weblog owns 0 % of me.
Does your weblog own you?
right after garbo was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease we found out that jezebel has cancer and after a miserable week at the vets she was only expected to live 24 hours. so, as in the past, me and the cat said no way 24 hours isn't enough, let's see what sort of fight we can put up. 4 weeks later jez has been doing really well on prednisone and a subq of ringers lactate every other day. she's happy, frisky and eating well and doesn't mind me giving her the subq needle at all. yah, her days are numbered but at least they're not being spent at the vets. our vets continue to be the best ever, calling after hours to make sure we're ok etc. all in all it's really hard having more than one geriatric cat at once. i really recommend that people space their cats apart by 4 or 5 years... it's got to be easier on the cats if only one needs care at a time and it sure as hell would be easier on your bank balance. oy.
