dear mr. and mrs. morrison,

your son was not the only member of the doors. just because jim was too stupid to figure out how to live past the age of 27 doesn't mean the remaining band members should be forced to live in the past. it was their band too and frankly jim wasn't the most talented of the group. i suggest you take responsibility for your weak gene pool and let the guys get on with their lives.

i don't know about you but over the last month i've been both dumbfounded and completely cracked up by the iraqi information minister and his whacky quotes and boundless capacity for denial. i sort of miss the guy and hope he turns up again soon as i'm sure his parting words will be comedy gold.

today's garbo's 17th birthday...! that makes her 84 years old in human years, whoa. we sure didn't think she'd make it this far when she was diagnosed with chronic renal failure last june so the graham-pavlovic household is pretty darn chuffed today. you know, thanks to tygrrr and jezebel, garbo is the one pet i've ever had where i was present during her birth.

i have a new hostee and he's very interesting - a harvard grad who wrote his thesis on buffy the vampire slayer...! how cool is that...? so everyone, let me introduce you to matt, he's snarkadelic ;-)
