blackout ! we went 25 hours without power of any sort. neither of us had any cash, the car was running on fumes, and we had to scrounge up $7 in canadian tire money to buy batteries for our flashlights. i stayed up all night sitting on the front steps (zoran slept in the car, it was so goddamned hot indoors) listening to the radio... at the first news that there was power somewhere we called gas stations in that area to see if they were open and raced to a gas bar and a nearby powered up atm. mmm cash money and a full tank of gas, what a relief that was...! but more than anything i missed my a/c in the worst way. gotta power down, no puter or anything extra tonight...

in the background: some crazy stepford looking broad with a speech impediment is on cnn declaring her intention to run for the state of california. oh. so this is arriana huffington (sp? who cares.). i've seen them make fun of her on snl. they didn't go far enough.
