One voter in five said moral values were the most important issue driving the vote, and almost eight out of 10 backed Bush

i guess it's true then, what i've always thought... only a very few americans are decent and intelligent folk. the rest of you are just crazy religious types, afraid of catching the gay & happy to kill as many "towel heads" as you can. whatever happens to you next - be it a large scale terror attack, or the last shreds of your constitution disappearing down bush's toilet - you'll have brought it down on your own heads, and it's not likely anyone will give a damn. in the face of all that is humane (and christian, for that matter), your so called morals are a farce and a disgrace.
But mostly I've given up hope. Americans en masse are clearly vile, hateful, willfully ignorant people interested in nothing but their own ill-informed prejudices and irrational fears. I hope America is ready for the new reality they're about to face. The next time there's a 9.11 type tragedy, get ready for a collective world shrug.
